Interesting trip to be held in the afternoon due to the tidal conditions. Goes through Ocean Shores, South Golden Beach to the North Ocean Shores Reserve. On return we will have a meal at the Brunswick pub. Bring a change of clothes.

Saturday March 10 The Warrie Circuit
Warrie Circuit, the longest of Springbrook's trails at 17km, incorporates a 4-kilometre loop called the Twin Falls Circuit. Together they form one of the most spectacular walks in south-east Queensland passing by 11 waterfalls

Sunday March 11 Appletree Park to The Settlement campground, Springbrook NP
The route consists of a steep descent from Springbrook Road to Little Nerang Creek then a walk alongside the creek through beautiful rainforest to join up with the Springbrook track system at the Waringa Pool and from there to the magnificent Purlingbrook Falls. Then a climb to the top of the falls and the Settlement campsite where we stop for lunch. Return via the Purlingbrook Circuit. Approx 17km Grade 2 Leader Tom 0755510230 0413398395

Saturday March 24 Cycling Pottsville to Kingscliff, Fingal Head and the Tweed River mouth and return
Mainly on cycleways from Pottsville via Salt and Kingscliff Surf Club (morning coffee) through to Fingal Head and on to the southern bank of the mouth of theTweed River where we lunch. We will explore cycleways along the entire route. Distance around 60km. Grade Medium (because of the distance) although the cycling is on level track all the way. OPTION meet at Kingscliff Surf Club for morning coffee and cycle with us to the Tweed River for lunch. Grade Easy. Dead flat. Distance around 18km.

Sunday March 25 Forest Tops to Sheepstation Creek
It is mostly downhill. Like all forest tracks it will be slippery if wet and there may be a number of trees across the track. This will be a one way walk requiring a car shuffle. Map Brays Creek. Grade 2 Leader Ed 66215367
Saturday / Sunday March 31/ April 1 Mount May to Mount Maroon.
This is a through walk with an overnight camp at Paddy Plains Campsite, the walk some steep climbs with the climb up to Mt May and Mt Maroon, also with a side trip to Paddys Gully and waterfall before heading up to Mount Maroon and out through Cotswold Track. Track is rocky and rough. Travel up Friday night and camp at Mount May campsite with dinner at the Rathdowney pub or travel up Saturday morning early. Grade 4 Approx 16 km. The cost of the overnight bush campsite is $5.30 per head. Register before March 15 with Gary as he will book the necessary sites.
