Follow fire trail to picnic area for morning tea, then a fairly steep descent to the creek at the top of the lower falls. A bit of a rock scramble from there to the base of the upper falls and lunch. Return the same way. Approx 8-9 km Grade 2.

Saturday April 7 Mt Jerusalem to Rockface Road
Walk on management trails past Doon Doon saddle and rocky lookout with good view of the Mt Warning caldera to the end of Wild Dog Rd, then off-track through dense rainforest over the top of Jerusalem Mtn down to Rockface Rd and return with some steep or overgrown sections. Monday April 9 Blackhand Mountain, Border Ranges NP,
Walk off-track first through dense rainforest and then sclerophyll forest down Razorback Ridge to a rocky peak with magnificent views and return. Some steep sections, rock scrambling and exposure. Distance 10 km, Grade 5, Map Brays Creek.

Friday/Sunday April 13/April 15 Weekend Camp at Binna Burra
A weekend camp at Binna Burra. We will collect the packs from the pack walkers Friday morning and deliver them to the campsite Saturday afternoon.

Tullawallal Circuit A walk to a grove of Antarctic Beeches for afternoon tea. Grade 2 Distance 5km
Saturday Coomera Circuit – perhaps the most scenic walk in Lamington passing by many waterfalls and also involves several creek crossings. Distance 17km Grade 3.
Full day Option (if wet) Mt Hobwee Circuit 18km
Half Day Walk Option Bellbird Circuit via the Lookout 12km Grade 2 or Gwongoorool Pool Grade 2, 6km . Walks will be put on to suit the participants and the weather conditions.

Cost is $24 per night per tent site for 2 persons and $10 per night for each extra person. We will be endeavouring to put 2 tents on per site. Drive in sites are also available. Saturday April 14/15 Bush Ranger Cave to Binna Burra
Leave cars at the Border Gate and follow the border fence up to Bush Ranger Cave, have short break before a steep scramble up to cliff line, then skirt left of cliff line and head up through rainforest to the Border track. Lunch at Garragoolba lookout then follow border track to Binna Burra. Camp the night and walk back to the cars the next morning via the Coomera Track. This walk has a steep climb with some scrambling through rainforest with leeches and lawyer vine. Camp sites will need to be booked with Binna Burra so numbers need to be advised well in advance. Register with Gary for this walk and inform Ian of your camping requirements. Grade 4 DO NOT BOOK A TENT SITE. The club has reserved sites.
